Vivitar Wide and Slim Arrives from eBay
August 19th, 2008 by DurkinPosted in Cameras
I recently purchased a Vivitar Wide and Slim from eBay, and today when I got home from work, it had arrived!
Interestingly the camera works right to left, which is different from what we would expect. It kind of reminds me of the old Russian fed rangefinders. The winder is in the bottom left hand corner, and the door opens the opposite way from usual too. The hinge is on the left hand side.
The Wide and Slim is a completely plastic camera that is manufactured in China. Its becoming very popular among toy camera enthusiasts because its cheap, and takes unusually wide angled shots for its class.
Specification:
Cost: £4.99 (apparently it can be found for cheaper!)
