Two DIY Pinhole Cameras You Can Build Today!
November 17th, 2008 by DurkinPosted in Tutorials
I’ve had the luck of stumbling upon two different DIY pinhole camera making guides this week, and thought it was only fair to share them with my fellow film enthusiasts.
The first pinhole is available to print out from an online PDF, the second is a step-by-step tutorial of how to make a pinhole camera out of a match box. I managed to make a matchbox pinhole camera this week but I have not attempted the other yet.
The Dirkon Pinhole Camera
This little beauty seems to resemble an SLR. I look forward to making this and seeing what results I can get in the near future.

The Matchbox Pinhole Camera
Here is what mine ended up looking like. I’m looking forward to getting some results from it. I didn’t accurately measure the aperture size so They probably won’t be in focus.

hey diesel, If you give the cameras a go please share your results on the forum. I’m really interested to see what we can get out of these little cameras
haha, i thought that when I was typing it out was well…maybe I should invent the Durkin pinhole camera.
