The Best Places To Buy Lomography Cameras on The Web
June 12th, 2008 by DurkinPosted in Tutorials
I often see people asking others where to buy holga and Lomography cameras from on forums and groups. I decided to make a list of the best places to get hold of them and why.
1. eBay
Without a doubt, eBay is the single best place to get hold of Holga cameras in my opinion. Most are imports from Hong Kong but in my experience, they always arrive. I have ordered two from Hong kong so far and both came within a week. eBay is also the best place to get hold of the latest Lomography products. There are already hundreds of Holga 135 cameras, as well as the new fish eye extension, which I plan to buy soon!

2. Amazon
For all you American Holga enthusiasts, you can get hold of Holga cameras through Amazon, and at a pretty
good price too.
Although the UK site never used to stock Lomography stuff, it seems that they have decided to now, and whats more they carry quite a few products! Action samplers, fisheye cameras and Dianas are all available.

3. The Lomography website
The most obvious choice is the official website. I feel that a lot of stuff is over-priced on the Lomography website though. They do however carry all the products they release, where as Amazon and eBay may not. I advise searching for your product on eBay before you get ripped off though!
4. Here
Soon you will be able to buy certain Lomography products through this website http://goholga.com! Stay tuned for more news on this over the next month or so!
If you know of any other great places then please leave a comment and I can add them to this post!
Thanks a lot ![]()

haha yes ebay is awful for that isn’t it! Selling stuff on there seems to take so much time as well damn it!
Have you purchased from eBay?

Yeah, so many stuff to drool on. I got a Yashica rangefinder from the local eBay. Recently, I purchased a diopter so I can try macros with my Holga.
Prices at ebay for cameras (especially those considered lomographic) are indeed a LOT cheaper than those at LSI

yes, eBay is excellent for lomography stuff i love it! can’t wait to get hold of the 135. I should be ordering it some time next week
I would really like a nice tlr but i really can’t afford to splash out at the moment. I have the lubitel 166b as you may well know, but after the problem with light leaks and the fact that the focusing is so misty, I might invest in something a little better.

How about a Yashica Mat 124 (for a TLR) or if you want vignettes and blurs, a Seagull (though a Holga could do those things already)?

I’ve been looking at Yashica in particular, they have some ice TLR cameras. Hate looking at used cameras on ebay though because most of them have stuff wrong with them when you buy them
